A Brief introduction of the Speaker
Daria Lazurenko, Ph.D., Professor, and Senior Humboldt Fellow. After obtaining her Ph.D. from Novosibirsk State Technical University in 2016, she remained there as a faculty member. From 2017 to 2019, she served as a visiting researcher at the Helmholtz Hereon Materials Research Center in Germany. Her primary research focuses on the phase transformation mechanisms and surface modification of TA1-based and TiAl-based intermetallic compounds. She has led six national-level research projects in Russia and participated in over ten others. She has published more than 50 papers in high-impact journals in the field of metallic materials, such as Acta Materialia. Additionally, she has contributed to the construction of Russia's fourth-generation electron synchrotron, SKIF, a major scientific facility, and is responsible for the experimental and research work at the beamline station.
